Conveniently located just off Hwy 24 between Rte 291 and N Dover Dr., Dental Depot of Independence is led by UMKC alums Dr. Kyle Milson and Dr. Drew Lusby, along with a team of friendly, highly-trained dental professionals.

Appointments are available 6 days a week, and, in addition to accepting most major dental insurance plans, we also offer financing, payment plans, Care Credit, and Alphaeon.
Dr. Kyle Milson comes to us from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry and has been practicing dentistry for seven years. Dr. Milson pursued a career in dentistry because it allows him the opportunity to alleviate his patients’ pain while also giving them the best smile possible. When Dr. Milson isn’t in the office, you can find him spending time with his wife and two sons, going to hear live music, or cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals.
After completing both his undergraduate and dental school at the University of Missouri – Kansas City, Dr. Drew Lusby served eight years in the United States Public Health Service.
As a Lieutenant Commander, Dr. Drew was stationed in Alaska, meeting the dental health needs of his community, all while gaining valuable experience as a dentist.
When Dr. Drew isn’t serving up smiles in the office, he loves hiking and spending time outdoors with his two Siberian huskies, his friends, and family.

In 1978, Navy veteran Dr. Glenn Ashmore opened the first Dental Depot office in Oklahoma City’s historic Linwood neighborhood as a small, family-owned private practice. Although that building burned down in 2001, during the construction of the second Oklahoma City Dental Depot location, community support helped us recover quickly. More than 45 years later, we’re proud to have just as many locations throughout Texas, Arizona, Missouri, and Oklahoma, with 25 here in the Sooner State alone!

Who came up with the idea of combining dental care in a railroad themed setting? Dunno but I liked it as my dad and I both worked on the railroad. The care and attention were great. The dental aides were efficient in scheduling, check-in, x-rays and attending the dentist. Dr Milton was very personable and knowledgeable. He suggested a much easier fix to my dental pain that has worked out well and saved me a lot of expense. Thumbs up service.
1st time to the dentist for my kiddos and it went so well! The receptionists were warm & friendly, the dental tech was very sweet and patient with them as well. The whole office is very clean and smells good. There is a train that runs the around the whole exam room/area, my kiddos loved watching for it. The dentist was wonderful! Good the the kids, friendly & informative to us. Our 6 month check up is already scheduled!
My husband, son, and myself went to Dentist Depot for the first time and we were impressed. My son had his first dental appointment and they ensured he was comfortable. They also helped to entertain him and my baby when she started to cry. As a bigger place you would think they’d lose points on being personable, but absolutely not! From the front desk, to the assistant, down to the dentist. The front desk were also kind enough and turned the train back on just for my son to see!
